Because you cared, children living in an orphanage and/or attending the school there, received new, warm clothing as Christmas gifts. These children are mostly school age - either abandoned, living in poverty, and/or have minor disabilities. The Sisters who care for them provide information to our contact in Poland, (the owner of a factory outlet store), regarding their names, ages, and sizes so that they have the items that fit the children. Then they all “go shopping” and the clothes are tried on. The Sisters write that this is such a joyful day for the children because this is a special day just for them. They all pray daily for the intentions of all who remember them. We have been able to continue this program annually since 2007 because of your support!
Christmas Letter from Poland
Dear Mrs. Christine and our Benefactors,
Thank you very much for the gifts we received at Christmas. Our girls had so much joy with them! They tried on the garments, and bragged to each other. Every package was addressed to each girl – something outstanding! All garments were very good. There were gifts for all the children.
It is so wonderful that you remember all of us. Our girls are so happy when someone remembers them and gives such beautiful gifts. They shared their excitement opening and trying on the clothes. They received blouses, trousers, jackets, coats, etc. All the clothing was practical, very needed and very nice. They already wear them for school and to church.
We remember all of you in every day prayer, and we wish you God’s blessing.
Thank you very much for everything! I am sending you pictures of the children at Christmas receiving their gifts. I wish you God’s blessings for each day, for you and all the benefactors.
